So we are setting off today for the mountains, in the boonies. It is a 5 hour drive along winding roads (thankfully tarred!) into the mountains. This will be Shamus' first experiment at left hand driving. Should be interesting.We are staying at a rented house in a village called Mpaki, not on this map, located near that town/village called Quthing. We do not have electricity, there is no phone, no internet. We have a generator that is run for just a few hours each night. The government of Lesotho has rented a small house for us there, and local women come to clean and cook for us. We do not know how long we will be there.
Our only means of communication will be a satellite phone that Shamus has to use to check in with his boss every night at 6pm.
Does that sound like fun? I am not too sure either.

Hopefully all is well in the mountains, Must be an amazing experience !! Although with out internet I might go a bit batty !!
