The bags are packed and ready to go!

Okay, so there may be a few last minute things that we need to try to cram into any free corner, but for the most part, they are ready. Good thing, cause I am pretty sure the seams are about to rip on mine. I may have packed a lot of stuff. But that's just because we are going to be gone for SO LONG, and what if there is something I need?? I can't count on being able to buy it in South Africa!

I have everything booked for London, including a hotel ($90 US a night), a flight on the London Eye (giant ferris wheel) and a Big Bus on off tour (to see the sights and whatnot). I have a travel guide book that I have barely looked at, but in my defense, I have been pretty busy getting ready for the trip.

We took the cats up to Shamus' parent's place tonight. It was sad! I am sorry to go and leave them there.... what if they think I am abandoning them there? And I think MJ (as much as we worship the ground that kid stomps and runs on) is going to give those two cats heart attacks! Oh well, what doesn't kill you.....

We leave tomorrow. I won't be able to get on the computer for any long period tomorrow, we have to clean the house (or poor Marcie, who is checking the mail and watering the plants, might be tempted to CLEAN it for us or something ridiculous like that!) and take the gerbil over to the next door neighbor to take care of (I don't think the gerbil will be 'with us' by the time we get back, I think it's his time soon). We also need to buy batteries, go to 2 banks and deposit post-dated cheques, and have brunch with my mother, who will drive us to the airport for our 3:50pm flight to LONDON!!! WOOT!

In case you can't tell, I am excited. I doubt I will get much sleep. AND we have to get up early tomorrow.

I hope to post again at least once from London, so toodles for now!
