Checking In

I am checking in from the airport... Shamus was so eager to get here on time, we were here 3 hours early! It was super quick to check in and go through security, so here we are, waiting for our flight. It doesn't leave for an hour and a half. Thank Goodness for WiFi, Shamus and I are wonderfully entertained on our respective laptops.

We had SO MUCH to do last night and this morning... we ran around trying to get everything done before it was time to leave. We sort of cleaned the house (sorry Marcie! We tried!), emptied the fridge, and got the gerbil ready for our neighbor's place. We also had to stop at Shamus' bank and mine. We WERE going to buy batteries, but changed our minds, it would just be more weight to carry. We can buy them from London. We STILL don't know how to carry/wheel all of our bags around London/to and from the hotel and airport. There is a 'left luggage' service, where you can check your bags with them, but it's 6 GBP per bag per 24 hours! If we left 2 of our bags, that's about $96. Gah! Maybe we will just check one of them.
